We do this by using the available programs offered through pharmaceutical companies and foundations that offer grant funding for chronic diseases. Simplefill is a nationwide advocacy service that helps patients with inadequate financial resources and limited to no prescription coverage receives help with their medications. Pharmaceutical companies have different guidelines for eligibility. Simplefill closely monitors any changes to the eligibility of these patient assistance programs. The income guidelines vary depending on the medication and pharmaceutical company. Also, some companies require that you have no insurance coverage for your medication, while others will offer co-pay assistance when your co-pay or deductible is unaffordable.
